What is it?
One minute is great, engaging starter, plenary and mini plenary activity.
How can I use it?
Have a prepared list of questions on a particular subject. Recently, I have used it when teaching Nutrition to my GCSE PE class. On a sheet of A4, have 15-20 questions, these can be a mix of multiple choice and short answer questions. Students are given one minute to complete as many questions as possible.
When used as a starter activity, you can revisit it at any point of the lesson for students to try and answer more than before. Great for competitive students.
